QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy explains how DDS Management Services LLC handles information when an authorized business connects QuickBooks Online to DDS QuickBooks Automations. The integration is private and is not offered as a public consumer application.
Information we handle
Depending on the approved workflow, the integration may access company identity details, chart-of-accounts records, vendors, customers, items, bills, purchases, and financial reports. It also handles technical connection data such as the QuickBooks company identifier, OAuth tokens, synchronization metadata, and security or audit events.
We do not request an Intuit user’s QuickBooks password. Intuit handles sign-in and presents the authorization request directly.
How information is used
- Provide approved bookkeeping and financial-reporting workflows.
- Verify the correct QuickBooks company before processing data.
- Detect errors, prevent duplicate transactions, and maintain audit evidence.
- Secure, support, and improve the integration.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and contractual obligations.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell QuickBooks data or use it for third-party advertising. Information may be shared with service providers that host or secure the integration, professional advisers supporting the authorized business, or authorities when required by law. We limit that sharing to the purpose for which access is needed.
Storage, security, and retention
OAuth credentials and accounting data are kept outside this public website in restricted operational systems. We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, bounded permissions, and activity logging designed to protect the connection. No system is completely secure.
We retain connection data while it is needed to provide the approved workflow, investigate security or accounting issues, and satisfy applicable retention duties. OAuth connection data is deleted or disabled after a verified disconnection request unless retention is legally required.
Your choices
An authorized administrator may revoke the app in QuickBooks Online and may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of eligible connection data. See the disconnection instructions.
